I don't feel like coping with video games anymore.

About a month or so ago, I got back into gaming. Since then, I've played or re-played the following:

Quake 1
Quake 2
Quake 4
FEAR
STALKER*
Left 4 Dead 2*
PUBG

(* -- played for the first time).

Gaming was a good cope but now, I'm just losing interest. A while ago, I started a new game of L4D2, a game which I really enjoyed, but quit after 5 minutes. It's like my brain is tired and can no longer process games.

Lesson learned:. Copes only work as long as you're interested in them. Copes can never substitute for the things that you really want.

Quake 1 and 2 are both excellent games, no doubt. But my brain is currently too exhausted to process those games, or any other game for that matter. Maybe it'll reset in a couple of weeks.

Couldn't be me
One of the perks of growing up poor is that I can finally enjoy those game that I couldn't play

Same I fell off so badly

I miss the good old times when I used to play games, specially Warcraft and WoW. WoW is now full of normies and the last interaction I had in WoW was with a normie trying to get at me for some reason. Unfortunately the games have been infiltrated with normies and that has ruined a lot of games. This is actually worth its own thread.

Same when I play always normies and egirls ruin the game and don’t get me started about the fucking simpimg

Understandable. I don't care about gaming, I want that my life would have adventures such as exploring abandoned buildings, swimming in natural waters in foreign countries and old 70's-90's cars as a hobby. As an incel with aspergers I struggle to find a way to afford that, I haven't found decent abandoned buildings/buildings waiting to get demolished for a long time.

Modern vidya is full of troons, fags and appeal to foids, slowly i see same phenomena and degradation with animu.

Its sad to get to that point

Legit good lesson to learn. Sometimes I'll go months without playing vidya and won't really miss it. Sucks to lose a cope, but there's others.

All of the games you've played are unironically bad and a bore to go through. Play some good ones and you won't feel that way

You need to figure out how to rotate between copes or else rope is inevitable

Same but nothing else to really do so I usually force myself to do it anyway.

Our enjoyment of Vidya was fueled by the culture that was cultivated back then. You'd be able to cope with vidya still if that culture wasn't destroyed.
