It’s probably because my parents still treat me like I’m 14 years old and instead of like an adult man with autonomy over his life they hindered my growth and development which is why I’ll probably never be on the level as my peers because I’m too far behind it never begun.

Good, there's no need to become societal expectations of a "real man", hell, none of us are getting married with the state of marriage and dating in 2023, this isn't the 1950s... who cares.

that being said be thankful they treat you like a child and don't just kick you out.

but i'm in the same boat and honestly you just have to mentally mature yourself. but don't kick yourself because either way we are already behind our peers for the fact that we have zero girlfriend.

its so hard to achieve that, but with the current economy you either have to move out and live with roomates (which i hate my irl ""friends"") and i dont have a gf to share the bills with so FUCK IT im staying home with mommy and daddy
