First off, while it should be obvious, I'll say that I don't condone the actions of anyone who takes out their frustrations on innocent people. However the point of this thread isn't to talk about ER, AM, or any others specifically, but rather to focus on the media reaction to mass killings/lone wolf terrorist attacks, whatever you want to call them.
Every time it happens you see the same thing, talking heads grasping at straws by which to direct the focus of the masses with. Be it inanimate objects, video games, incels as a whole, "toxic masculinity", even white nationalism or Islam(depending upon the perpetrator's background), the attention is always directed towards the means of the attack in some manner, not the actual "why", as to what could drive that particular individual to take such a suicidal and/or life ruining action. Even an aforementioned cause is essentially just an excuse, the furthering of one particular agenda doesn't tell the whole story of why someone would be willing to commit suicide for something they won't live to benefit from, it just doesn't mesh with human behavior. Rather, I'd argue that a person who carried out such an attack already wanted to die anyway, at least on some level, albeit irrespective of circumstance(but still probably applicable to all mass killers tbh).
So then why do these attacks actually happen? The fact is when you belittle people, exploit them, shit on them throughout their lives, force them to attend a school system where they're ostracized, alienated, and then mock them for complaining about it, you're going to create individuals who have an immense amount of rage towards western society in general. Be it the pillaging of the middle east or the societal bullying of men within the west, every single one of these attacks is entirely explainable by looking at the targets of the people in question. But does the media endorse any sort of cultural introspection of this kind? Nope. Those who control the narrative would rather do everything in their power to distract the populace from this very line of thinking, to render people blind towards the actual causes of the attacks in question, and to further the agenda of the elite by clamoring for more and more control.
Every single snake who spews this garbage is incalculably worse and more damaging than the killers in question, at least as far as I'm concerned.
