There are dozens, if not hundreds, of public campaigns, charities and groups that are in your faces every single day about how eating disorders and self-harm disorders affect women, but absolutely none about how they impact men.
Society just doesn't care about ugly men.
Even still, they're amazing copes. Boiling water and heated cutlery get me through the fucking day, and the plus side is that they don't leave obvious wounds as long as you don't attack the same area over and over again.
