It happened at the gym I've been going to for the past 4 months. She is a relatively tall white chick but with tanned skin and some tasteful tattos. Probably early 20s like me. Black hair and nice eyes (I forget what colour) and most importantly an absolutely killer body. Perfect ass and tits - not obnoxiously large, just well proportioned to the rest of her body - just the way I like it. Her usual outfit is yoga shorts and a crop top, leaving her very well defined midsection visible. Point is, she's fucking hot.
Okay, so what made me feel like approaching her? Well It's simple - I never see her with another guy ever. What I did notice is that she was always glued to her phone. Like whenever she wasn't using her hands to stretch or lift weights she would be staring at her phone and smiling. I managed to get a glimpse of her screen on a few separate occasions just to make sure she wasn't sexting chad, but it looked like she was reading/writing tik tok comments. I took this as a sign she is single (retarded thinking on my part I know)
Okay, so here's what happened:
She's in a quiet corner of the gym doing some sort of stretch routine on a yoga mat. She was in the doggystyle position, so naturally I was taking a good look as subtlety as possible. She then sat down and starting typing away at her phone as usual.
Now is my time to strike.
I walk up to her and say "excuse me". She takes out her earbuds and looks me in the eye. I had never seen her face this close before, and she was even more beautiful than I initially thought. This really scared me, but it was too late. There was no going back now. So I said "I just wanted to say you are absolutely stunning". Her eyes go wide, and she says "Oh thank you. I really appreciate that".
This is where I fuck up. You see, I had never heard this woman speak before, and she had a really hot voice. This, compounded with her insane looks, made me completely shut down. I simply could not risk embarrassing myself by asking this woman for her number and getting rejected. All of the confidence I went in with just evaporated instantly. So I just smiled back at her and then walked away with my hands visibly shaking.
So yeah, I completely fumbled the fucking bag. I have seen her since, but she hasn't said anything to me. Is there any saving this? Should I say something else next time I see her? Is it over?
