Think about it. When they apply makeup the average female looks like the hot models and actresses we see in TV shows, movies and advertisement. The average man never looks like the male equivalent in there because it's all about facial bone structure.

The entertainment and advertisement industry hammers it into our brain on a daily basis that if you look like this you can score Brad Pitt, Ryan Gosling etc.. Ok sure. But the thing is the average woman actually looks like that thanks to makeup. Compare hot male celebrities with "hot" female celebrities without makeup. They rarely looksmatch. Makeup makes every girl look good. Beautiful eyes and healthy skin are universal and absolute measures of attractiveness. And females can easily fake it.

On average the American woman spends $8 PER DAY on makeup!

That is quite much for something that isn't a basic necessity. Only a fool would think that it doesn't have any impact on our society.
So if you look like that hot chick on TV then you think you are entitled to Chad. That's why most females think most men are beneath them. And that is the ultimate reason why the 80/20 rule exists.
