I can’t go a day without thinking about how I completely missed out on teen love

Every morning I get up, I think about what could’ve been.

Innocent love stripped away from me. Now, it’s too late for that. It’s time to focus on a career, pay bills, and slowly go insane without love.

Teen love and the experience of being loved as a teen is so formative and yet we were robbed from it and for that I have an intense anger that burns inside of me, especially when I see young couples out in public, as it's a reminder of everything I was never allowed to have.
