Venting i can't get over on how horror movies suck nowdays

we get maybe 2 decent horror movies once a year. and by decent i mean barely over the 5/10 mark.
that's two.. out of maybe 200+? that's fucking lame dude.
every indie horror project has been a complete failure. hollywood AAA movies are full of old horror tropes like "the little blonde girl" or "the weird housekeeper" shit.
also when it comes to sequels, horror movies tend to be progressively worse. (minor exception is paranomal activity)
how hard it is to make a DECENT horror film? this is fucking halloween and i have to dig DEEP in order to find 1 horror film that doesn't suck.
how many GOOD horror films we had for the past 20 years? 30 at most? that's saying alot about film producers and the industry in general
