Can't finish shit either. Dropped op, bleach, monster, plenty of others. Funnily enough I'm watching opm right now and though I couldn't bring myself to watch an episode over the last 4 days I will say it's an easy show to watch, I think I'll finish it eventually.
Books are the worst for me, I really wanted to improve my vocab, but I could not finish a single book I've started, I've dropped like 10+ books. I can only finish kids books, I've finished Romeo and Juliet, and a book that is a collection of Hungarian folk and fairytails. Reading the Hobbit right now because everyone praises LoTR and I thought the movies were boring (couldn't finish those either) and the book is alright, I'll try to power through it.

I finish almost every anime I start watching.
But does it change your life in anyway, do you ever feel like what you've watched had a satisfying ending to the story? Because in my case It always feels underwhelming

Many anime unfortunately have underwhelming endings if they get endings at all.

I figured the fewer you watch the better you perceive them. The perceived quality of a work of art a lot of time depends on one's exposure to the medium it belongs.

Since you said 'many', I assumed you are overexposed to the medium of Anime, which likely hurts your enjoyment of an Anime show/movie's conclusion in most cases (unless it's exceedingly good and unique). Or maybe I'm just projecting lol.

I suppose it could be. It might also have to do with the fact that many anime adaptions get made before the manga has ended.
I think it makes you pick up flaws more often but it also makes you appreciate things more when done well. I re-watched FLCL for the first time since I was 14 or some shit and I’ve enjoyed its technical aspects in a way I was unable to do when I first started out
As for me, when I used to watch too many anime shows and too frequently, they all melded into a singular experience.
Yeah! Nowadays, I mostly go back and rewatch old stuff. Getting too deep into the technical aspects can be a double-edged sword, tho. It an ruin the 'magic' or the feeling of 'awe.'

I either get bored of the plot or it ends with the prettyboy/chad main character getting a GF and i no longer want to watch it because of mogging.
Mate I am kinda like you I just watch recap/summaries it is one episode long and you get all the action

the first one that comes to mind is Daa! Daa! Daa! but I think few here would enjoy it. Monster also has a good ending and is maybe more this forum's speed.
