I cannot believe that New York and New Jersey rank the highest in happiness and have the lowest suicide rates out of all the U.S states

When I think of New York and New Jersey I think of loud, obnoxious assholes, niggers, whores, and other dumb brutes. Loud traffic, trash cans with wheels EVERYWHERE, people everywhere like German roaches.

I get the reasons NY and NJ rank the highest, but still. I couldn’t imagine living around so many insufferable people, and so much incessant noise.

It makes sense that more rural states would have higher suicide rates due to an increased risk of loneliness and easier gun access.

But for NY and NJ to be the happiest, I just can’t believe it. I would HATE living there lol. I was still expecting some different states to rank better than those two.

Probably, because they live in large, dense, metropolitan centers with spacious amenities and nice social interaction. These states are their respective finanical institutions and have an insane amount of wealth into them.
