I bought a bottle of JD old no. 7

Today, I bought a bottle of Jack Daniel’s old no. 7. You know, the Tennessee whiskey in the square bottle with the black label. That one that normies and rock ‘n’ rollers like so much.

Does anybody here like this? I would offer you a glass if I could. I actually wanted to buy an Irish whisky at a discount price, but I didn’t find it in the store, so I spontaneously bought a bottle of Jack. A bit pricey, but I’ll enjoy it.

The last time I drank whisky was about a year ago. It was a Canadian whiskey with cinnamon flavor, very good stuff, will buy it again if I can get it at a good price. For some reason, I associate Christmas and winter with whiskey, I don’t know why.

Ok, I got a good buzz. It burned more in the throat then I expected and had a nice whiskey taste and smell. It’s good, but they are all similar. Alcohol is alcohol.

Cheers, it was alright, but JD smells and tastes a lot like alcohol. It’s really harsh.

I’m drinking a London Dry Gin at the moment. Made my family different Gin cocktails on New Year’s Eve, they all liked it!

It’s been a long time since I drank JW. The fancier labels are usually a huge step above the “standard” labels, this is also true for JD, the Gentleman Jack and Single Barrel are in another league, but they are expensive.
