Cope I bought a bag of freshly roasted beans from my local coffee shop

It is around 3-4x more expensive than grocery coffee. I made a cup of pour-over and I did manage to taste notes of blueberry which they advertised. I didn't enjoy it, however. The distinct flavor doesn't really add anything good to the taste and I don't feel it's something I'd like to pay for. I'd rather spend the extra money getting real blueberries and eat them while drinking ordinary dark roast grocery coffee.

I wonder if I'm the only one who can't differentiate between premium and ordinary food/drink or it's just another incel trait.

I don't think it is your tastes buds are at fault. These hipster coffee shops sell over priced shit and hype their products. That's their scam. Selling shitty things at exorbitant prices. Don't fall for it.

I think you are right. They even attached a handwritten thank you note which addressed me in my first name. It actually felt really good but that could be part of their business tactics. I guess normies are probably used to paying extra just to support their "community".
