I avoid being around foids my age out of habit

Had this happen earlier today. I went to pick up lunch, there I saw a young woman about my age (in her 20s) standing behind a soda fountain. Instead of grabbing any extra stuff, I chose to leave the restaurant without a second thought.

I didn’t want to create any awkwardness or result myself getting humiliated with myself or anyone else. I’d find it very embarrassing to see myself placed in that situation, being that close to a woman.
