I think this is more rude TBH. If she was nice, she'd be honest and tell her she doesn't like him. The soft rejection allows her to try and use him as a potential plate/beta orbiter.

I asked her if she wants to go for a coffee in the morning (due to language barrier she thought I told her to drink coffee, but then I told her that I meant together).
She did actually say yes.
Then I asked her if she has a what's app and she said no, but shell be seeing me in the next days.
So that's why I want to wait a few days first.
