Make friends with people of both genders, not just females you'd want to sleep with. If you pass looks-wise, you should eventually get introduced to the kind of female you're trying to cold approach. If you don't, you're a truecel, and you should just give up all hope.

If you really are compatible, and you're not a truecel, you shouldn't need to force anything. It's just trying to make friends with anyone regardless of compatibility just to make friends that doesn't work.
