True. Actually, I was so miserable back in high school when I was experiencing it. I only fell in love with it when I started writing my autobiography because I saw how interesting it was. What I love is how interesting my story there was. The subjective experience was awful, but looking back it was amazing.

I know that I was the biggest loser in my class, in the running for the whole school even. I was bullied every day. The girls made sure that I knew that I was disgusting. And I wasn't one of the boys.

That is interesting. I googled it. Studies show in the US rates of bullying is slightly higher in public schools than in private schools. Is there a narrative in the US that bullying is worse in public schools? Here in the Philippines, I think the narrative is the opposite, that bullying is worse in private schools.

I'm an old school incel so I believe you have to be old to be sure you're an incel. Besides, when you're young you have so much more opportunities to meet people with the potential for relationships.

I can't relate to middle school because in my generation we didn't have it here in the Philippines... or at least we didn't call it middle school. It's complicated. But when I said my second high school was the greatest two years of my life, those were when I was 15 to 16 years old.
