I am Not Bringing a Phone Back to College

When the second semester starts, I will not bring a phone to college.

I had the fortune of breaking my phone during the first semester, and I went a few weeks without one. No contact or socical media. It was great!

Now that I'm back home, I have another phone I can use, and it is annoying. Some people talk to me, so I feel obligated to talk to them. But other people are annoying. Emotional and manipulative. What's worse is social media. All they do is show off and brag. It annoys me.

So, next semester, I am just going to isolate myself from them so that I don't have to deal with it, by not bringing a phone.

Technically yes. But usually there are some people who are tweeners and they'll try to rope you in. It's easier just to leave a phone at home and avoid temptation altogether.

I used mine very intensely as a little computer, hardly at all as a phone and the battery is so worn out that I now only leave it charging 24/7 near my bed. It makes no real difference in my life, I just use my laptop more.

Why do you use social media anyway? All I use my phone for is this, Sound cloud, Hulu, and YouTube.
