Discussion Hypothetical, wife or newborn who do you save?

On one hand I would have had to have gone through hell to get ONE foid to sleep with me. On the other the child is my blood and she ain't. Which do you choose?

Another thing is like if she dies and the child is male then my bloodline is most certainly doomed and it was all for nothing.
