I've always heard women say that they needed to get a skill and work so that if their husband leaves them they don't end up homeless. But that's bullshit because men are not hypergamous like women are and would have no problem marrying a homeless woman with no education. On the other hand men, if men had no skills, and women, by entering the workforce, stole their jobs, they would die homeless. Women want men with at least as much education, higher salary and taller.
