I fucking hate this idea so much, let me make this very fucking clear, sexual selection is not equivalent to natural selection. Take human penis size for example, it's novel in primates as none of our cousins can compare. There's no survival value in humans having large phalluses; in fact, the larger surface area would increase the chance of damage, as many species, like Chimpanzees, know to mutilate their enemies' sex organs. Having such a large and exposed sex organ, in it of itself, isn't good for survival, and yet we have them; it's because they're a product of sexual selection, not natural selection. It's an example of women not being some magical being that picks the best genetic material based on survival.
