I was just thinking about this, how we went from having community to now suffering from being with crabs in a bucket which I call anti-community. Basically, the anti-community is a group that functions in the opposite way in which a community should. If community is about cooperating, harmonizing, and supporting each other through shared struggles, extending of support, and broadening of access to resources, and helping weaker members to increase our chance of survival as a group, then the anti-community is a competitive, low trust, Darwinian hellscape where individuals come together to compete among themselves and subjugate or purge the weak ones who can't keep up, and over time, such groups with kind of crab in the bucket mentality just end up cannibalizing each other till the absolute strongest and most treacherous person is left standing.

We have shifted from a k-selective civilizational mindset that treasured its intellectuals to an r-selective one which celebrate the most competitive, Darwinian, badass, evil motherfucker out there that can crush his opponents with his bare hands. There has been total loss of refinement and a return to barbarism. I agree that Christianity made people more domesticated, but that domestication was important for setting the foundations of civilization. Now that religiosity is dead, people are depraved and Satanic again. Maybe Christianity celebrated weakness a bit too much, but it did well to hold people's barbarism in check, and now we are left to witness this horror.

I wouldn't say satanic, it's a strong word for this. Barbaric is better term for it.

I've been hurt so much by this, always wanting to do stuff and cultivate myself and share it with other people, just for them to put me down, it's quite the inferiority complex for them.

Yeah. Without that it feels meaningless. And to get that, you have to be at a really high level that's glorified across social media, which is hard for average people to achieve. Average has no place in society anymore. Too many elites and too much competition. Look into elite overproduction theory.
