As I briefly mentioned about a month ago:

Oddly, one of the more in-depth discussions on the semantics of "incel" can be found in the deletion talk pages of wiki, as the incel articles have been created & subsequently deleted 4 different times between 2006 - 2015... e.g., https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Involuntary_celibacy_(4th_nomination)

The last time the page was deleted it was also salted, which means in order for the page to be recreated again, it must undergo wiki admin approval (or similar hurdles).

Welp, seems recent events have made the incel community somewhat hard to ignore -- the page is back and is an absolute FEEDING FRENZY right now.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Involuntary_celibacy

It changes dramatically from hour to hour. ATM, incels.is is mentioned under a section in the article called "Anonymous 'Blackpill' Boards", which goes into some detail about blackpill philosophy. The associated talk page is also a comedy show right now https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Involuntary_celibacy

I've been keeping an eye on both the article and Talk page ever since it's re-creation early Wednesday... it's been an amusing spectacle so far

Enjoy

izz insells a mental dizorder?!?!1
god damn people are so retarded

Anonymous posters in the subreddit described women as "femoids" or "stacys" and described men who were able to have sex with these women as "chads".

:feelsgah:

They need to write about LMS and FACE, FRAME, HEIGHT

they cant help themselves can they

Lol wikipedia infights are the best

Kukipedia is cancer

It got moved to 'Incel' so they wouldn't have to talk about involuntary celibacy as it's own thing. They want to define it as a subculture now and forget about the concept of involuntary celibacy

reminder that if you think something isn't accurate, talk to gorilla warfare on the talk page, she basically owns the page as she's a sysop, she responds to logical arguments at least, even though she clearly has an agenda beyond informing people, edit warring will just get you stalked and maybe banned, big players monitor the incel page now

"Other concepts that incels may believe in include female hypergamy, the "80/20 rule" (an application of the Pareto principle) which suggests that 80% of women desire the top 20% of most attractive men, and among non-whites, the "JBW" theory, which stands for "Just Be White", suggesting that Caucasians face the fewest obstacles when dating"

lol at reading about JBW on Wikipedia.

@FACEandLMS you made it.

I can't remember if I coined this or was influenced by others tbh.

In truth objective fact does not matter. Many great inventions and discoveries have been claimed as the property of someone who didn't actually develop them.

I dont donate to them when they ask.

"Incels may attribute their lack of sexual success to factors such as shyness, sex-segregated work environments, negative body image,[50] penis size,[47] or their physical appearance,[51]"

Physical appearance put last. Way to beat around the bush.

Wikipedia is great for non-controversial subjects, but unfortunately the "no original research" meme gives far too much influence to mainstream media in controversial ones.

"Many incel communities are characterized by resentment, self-pity,[7] misogyny, misanthropy, narcissism,[35] and racism.[1][5][11][31][7][21][22][30][36] "

Their "sources" are nothing but "news" articles, that explains why "racism" was thrown in there.
They actually list VICE as a source jfl

fake news by gay jews

Didn't the old page say we were alt right white supremacists?

Wikipedia said:
"Like a scientist who invented something that ended up being a weapon of war, I can't uninvent this word, nor restrict it to the nicer people who need it."

This quotation bothers me whenever I see it. This roastie is so conceited that she thinks merely shortening an already existing term is equivalent to the invention of the nuclear bomb.

Besides the fact that they want to label us as some white power group it's not too bad.
