I moved. Anything new with you?

Where did you move? What is your specific address? Asking for a friend

Nice. Stay right there, I’m sending my friends over to talk with you

Actually shot down to Albuquerque on my way up to Nebraska, my adoptive new state. That city is actual hell. It’s like phoenix but with nicer weather and crazier Mexicans.

Today was alright. A lot of shit has been going wrong lately though

Like what, buddy?
My dad died 2 months ago, my muscle car broke down last weekend and likely needs a 2k repair job, sleep's been very difficult. Just a lot of shit going wrong lately. The car thing is very upsetting because if my father was still alive, he'd help me diagnose the issue and we might even fix it ourselves. I know a good bit about cars, but messing around with timing in the distributor or even worse, replacing a timing chain, is beyond me. Plus, at our cabin, we have a large 1.5 acre yard that takes powerful riding mowers to cut the grass, and I just finished fixing 2 of them, and they were working great until my mother accidentally broke one from misuse. She took it through grass way too high that I explicitly told her not to because she doesn't have the skill I do, but she did it anyway, and the blades got jammed, and the belt got melted. So I can fix this myself luckily, but it's gonna be a few hours of work

That doesn’t sound fun. Sorry that’s happened to you.

Yeah, it's been brutal lately. I enjoy going to our cabin and maintaining the land though. Makes me feel good, and that fresh cut grass smells so good too. Plus, the sound of a powerful riding mower when it's running good is nice.
