I've been doing really well this past year, because I don't have too many people to talk to and can spend a lot of time studying, and I wanted to see if lack of friends/social life correlates with academic success.

The curriculum is significantly easier here, so getting high scores is what matters. I got like a 98/100 average. Does your school do ranks? If so, what was yours?

I don’t really have high expectations of myself. Right now I’m living comfortably in my apartment juggling uni work and a remote job so life is pretty alright for the time being

Very good student as a kid. Years of social ostracization since my childhood broke me however. I stopped for the most part giving shit and coped with random BS.
I still tried to make some half-assed attempts, however predictably it didn't cut it.
I ended up as a failure.
I have no idea how to dig myself out of current shithole I live in. I am still willing to put the necessary work to survive and maybe alleviate my position if I can muster a sound plan, however.

I left 11 years ago. I got 10 GCSE's and 3 A-Levels but I am a failure mostly because of my disfunctional personality due to autism and depression.
