You pretty much can't unless you started learning the target language during the language acquisition period, which is thought to end at around 10-13 years old. When you're older than that, you have to do voice lessons and speech therapy most likely.

You can't change your accent just like that. It takes years of training and your brain will still manage to fuck it up sometimes. Only people born bilingual can have two different accents.

No, that is because they learn standard Received Pronunciation English (English native to the British Isles) Most of the rest of the world has a closer cultural poximity to America, and so learns their version of English.
