We have, (0.45)[(125-80)/15] = 1.35.

I'm missing some steps. It's been a while. The IQ drop shouldn't be that low for the offspring.

(0.45)[(125-80)/14] = approx 1.45 standard deviations above the mean

1.4464... x 14 = 20.25

20.25 + 80 = 100.25 for child of pure negro (not mixed) with an IQ of 125 (on average)

I don't know if the conclusion that the child will have an IQ of 100.3 is accurate, though. I think we're supposed to say that the most probable outcome is that the child will have that given IQ.

Indeed, that would be the most probable outcome for said child

Extrapolating that over the entire black population would iron out any outliers though

Or maybe not. Asians are known for being a collectivist race, but according to this, they not have a slightly higher IQ than whites, but they also have the same SD as them, meaning they both have the same % of geniuses, with the Asian geniuses being smarter. Also this doesn't look like a SD of 14.
