That's not what he was getting at. He was more implying that one needs confidence if they want to approach women. In a way that makes sense. Women are the absolute hardest thing to get in life or just about. Better to improve your environment, career, and life situation first instead of squandering time approaching women. It is a far better investment.

What do I mean by this? I mean that she is doomed to live a life where she is acted upon and have little actual autonomy. Take this scenario for an example: a woman finds herself alone walking in an alien neighborhood when she encounters a man that wishes to rape her. What can a woman do in this situation? Her best option would be a damsel in distress and call out for help,followed by running away ( good luck with that when she is wearing high heels).
