In some areas of the US at least it's practically impossible to live alone, period. You need housemates or roommates to live in the city or split a house in a suburb, or be rich, or live in the boonies. Unless you get married, of course...

The average may be low but I'm willing to bet the median is already atrocious.

Here's an example of a recent living situation I had: 1 house, 2 apartments (upstairs and downstairs). Upstairs was 2.5 bedrooms (the .5 was a closet type area changed into a bedroom of tiny proportions). 1 attic that no one was supposed to live in. 1 bathroom. No yard, no parking available, less than 10 feet from the neighboring 3 buildings and the street on each side. Relatively busy intersection. Also half a block away down a one way street from the ambulance station so sirens all the time. Dealt with bed bugs for 6 months. In the bad area of town, next to a church and the train tracks so the whole house shook when trains passed by and the church bells were ass. City is about 56k people, 50+% Latino, many of them immigrants and illegals. 1 hour by train to NYC. 

Rent for the top apartment was $2.4k per month and utilities were regularly upwards of $400-500 per month, with water every 3 months being an additional $200-300. Minimum wage is ~ $8.00 and full time work is difficult to find in the area because of the Latino competition and monopolies.

Assuming that you still have yet to finish puberty and you’re taking HGH then it might broaden your skull and give you an overall more masculine appearance since it’s a T booster.

I'm sure housing prices pretty much everywhere in America are better than in major cities in the UK.  I've known quite a few people (online) in the UK and a lot of them complained about how expensive rent is there.

The thing about your other comment is you're comparing me to the average 30 year old...which really doesn't work in my case.  I'm a spectacular failure compared to my peers.  I'm in the bottom 5 percent of people in my age range.  I work two minimum wage jobs (part time for both now).   I was born from a fairly poor family, have no real education, and have a legit IQ of around 80.  So yeah....not your average 30 year old.

I think that the difference is that people generally stay with their families longer in Europe and Asia than they do in America. You don't have roommates or housemates, you continue living with your family until you start your own family or make enough to move out.

Beyond that, in my experience, in Eastern Europe and the Balkans it is actually quite cheap to live alone if you live on the outskirts of the major cities, but that might have changed in the many years I haven't been out there.

It would be a lot cheaper than in America and also by the time I'm retirement age, the tumblrinas and numale millennials will have completely taken over the country and passed all sorts of authoritarian laws. So I'll need to escape anyway.

Also after all the plastic surgery I got...I THINK I can pass as slavic, so that would work to my advantage there.

My plan is to legally change my surname to whatever surname is common in the country I expat to. Then I will claim that my parents were born in (whatever country I expat to) but that I was born in America. Maybe they'll still see me as a foreigner but accept me just enough to not actively hate me and beat the shit out of me.

I'll do my best to learn the language to some extent but my IQ is far too low to ever be able to speak another language fluently. I struggle putting together basic sentences in English and it is the only language I speak.
