I enjoy Nintendo and Playstation. Although I'm getting more into Playstation as I get older due to there more mature games. Right now I'm still a Nintendo fan boy cause I grew up playing the old game systems before heading to Playstation.

Even I do concede that they aged horribly - which I don't, particularly - they're still amazing games.

All are overrated slops only revered by people like you because of nostalgia. Doom was way better than two of those console first baby shooters lmao and on rail shooters were nothing new by 97, they were super popular in arcades. But of three Perfect Dark probably aged the best especially since you can now play it on PC with mouse and keyboard support, but even this won't change how stupid and simplistic is their ai so you never felt like it was a hard game like you do with Doom or Alien vs Predator 1 and 2 or Deus Ex 1.

They're fine. With a few exceptions like Pikmin (a genre unto itself, what else is there? Overlord?) just fine. The fanbase is retarded and rabid, and puts up with way too much shit. Even EA isn't as bad as Nintendo.

Also Topsy-Turvy, Ocarina, Link's Awakening, DKC 2... so they've had fun games but these days it all feels a bit bland, kiddy and safe.
