I was mute throughout my entire childhood and teenage years and I still am as a 25 year old man. I feel like I'm mentally retarded. I can't even go outside without having an anxious feeling in my chest. I've never fit in and feel awkward when I try to socialize. I thought that I would get over it but I feel like I'm gonna be like this for the rest of my life.
