During 23-24 June 2023 Wagner mercenaries advanced on Moscow. The closest they got to Moscow was 59 miles. They were able to make a rapid advance due to well constructed roads. Given another day or two they would have reached Moscow.

Prior to the German invasion of the Soviet Union on 22 June 1941 the German planners thought a road network existed in Russia. It did not. Roads marked on maps were in a very poor state and often just dirt tracks. This held up the German advance.

Now consider that Germany had an autobahn system and that they had good trade relations with the USSR. Germany imported raw materials and exported machine tools right up the invasion.

So, what if Germany had offered to build autobahns for the Soviets as part of a trade agreement and then invaded using these same road networks? A sort of Trojan horse.

The war could have been over in 4 days.

Had the German War Planners tried to drive to Moscow in a car they would have quickly seen the state of the roads and maybe the idea of building an autobahn straight from Berlin to Moscow would have occurred to them.

You know, I'm pissed that those faggot commies won, had Japan never bombed Pearl Harbor, America would have sided with Germany (in a more realistic manner, they would had never been in the war at all)

The Soviets dug in and defended hard and also did massive counter attacks throughout the whole war.

When Zhukov arrived from Siberia with his divisions it was over for Nazi germany. He had a lot of experience fighting the Japanese in the battle of Khalkin Gol.

If the Germans had access to the same quality roads as the Wagner Group they would have reached Moscow in 4 days.

The German War Planners should have offered to build a road network for the Soviets in a spirit of friendship then invaded over the same roads.

The capture of Moscow would not have caused the USSR to surrender. Barbarossa should have aimed its spearhead at the Caucasus instead of launching a general offensive and trying to conquer the whole of European Russia at once. Had the Caucasus been conquered in 1941, the oil shortage that was crippling the Wehrmacht would have been remedied and the Werhmacht could have waged war against the Soviets in full force with its motorized, mechanized, armoured and air forces. The lack of fuel limited Germany's use of these technologies throughout the war, forcing it to rely on horses for logistics and traditional infantry, whose only means of transportation was on foot.
