I moved with my mother to live with my stepfather when I was 6 years old. He died of an aneurysm in 2021. He had a shitty job. He worked as a forklift operator at night. He collapsed at work and was in a comma for a long time. The doctors didn't know what to do with him and initially said he would get better. A few months later in 2021, he died in the hospital because he would otherwise have been severely disabled had he continued to be kept alive artificially. The brain damage was too severe. This shows again and again that modern medicine does not exist. He had known previous illnesses and yet he could not be helped. He didn't really make an effort to get help, but the doctors should still operate on him to avoid his death. People always think that Germany is a highly modern country, but that's not true. If you don't help yourself when you're sick, you'll die.
He was only in his early 50s and had a shitty life and probably a better one than me in some ways. He was short, fat and looked a bit strange but it's still a sad loss even though we didn't really like each other.
