Discussion how much times do you leave your house/apartment

It Varies quite a bit with me. Sometimes I’ll have a week where I’m out regularly because of a burst of motivation, and then the next week I’ll be at home, depressed all throughout it (like this week).

Most of the time, though, it’s the latter, and I’m stuck rotting in my gaming chair, smelling like shit, and thinking about my childhood.

The amount I make varies significantly depending on how much I drive (delivery bonuses + paid fuel money per km). On a typical 3 hour weekend shift, I can expect to make $100AUD (= $70USD).

It sounds like a good job on paper, and it is when you are just driving around, but lots of my time is spent around the store which is dirty, loud and I am around coworkers who I dislike and that dislike me.

Maybe working for Uber Eats would be a better choice because it's more solitary and you have more autonomy (although the demand for Uber Eats where I live is too low for that to be a viable job for me).

Yes, certainly. I used to work at McDonald's in the past and I would never return to that job. The pay was also worse than delivery driving despite the conditions and difficulty of the work being far worse JFL.

I think a better job, at least for me, would be something completely solitary, like working a night shift somewhere, working on a farm or in a warehouse, etc. Just spend my time listening to music doing repetitive work without having to deal with coworkers, managers or customers.

Usually I'll avoid leaving my apartment twice in a single day. I'll do my grocery shopping right after work if possible. If I'm doing all 2nd shifts that week that might not be possible, but sometimes they let me go at 10pm instead of 11, in which case I can drive directly to walmart from work and quickly get my shopping done.

I'm usually able to make it so that every week I have one day where I don't have to leave my apartment for any reason. And if everything goes just right it can be two days a week, though at least half the time there's somewhere i need to go on one of my days off.
