I spend probably 90% of my mental energy repressing "weirdness" that would offend NT people. I literally have to spend mental energy trying to make my behavior and vocal quality "normal" so psychopaths can feel OK. The unfortunate consequence is people perceive me as weird for repressing my natural mannerisms. It's simply the lesser of two evils though where if I just let it all out they would be extremely weirded out but if I repress it I appear like an Amish asexual. I don't know how else to describe it
