To get all these things above, you need to be making at least 80K a year. The only way you're getting that kind of money is through a valuable degree (engineering, doctor, lawyer but only once you're above 30 effectively) and a business that's earning profits.

Being a richcel doesn't guarantee that you'll get married to anyone other than a 30 year old woman who's tired of sleeping around and wants you to act as her ATM.

Can you explain how you got to that sort of income?

I don't really want to richcel, but I have family and a dad that's suffering hard from the oil industry being down, and I have a lot of responsibilities on my shoulders soon.

I'm only 20 and I'm graduating next year in Mathematics. I just want to earn enough money to help support my immediate family and support some of my other interests (I want to make a closed-circuit hydroponic farm with fish offering the nutrients, and experiment with robotics).

Well it's still a different kind of status. Most people respect lawyers in a way but they still despise them and have generally negative associations (greedy and no integrity) with them (at least in my country). Physicians on the other hand are greatly respected and well-liked.

I'm in my mid 20's and have managed to save around £40,000 (about $55k), I have nothing to spend it on but am strongly considering Rhinoplasty (£5k) and veneers/adult invisible braces (couple thou). Nothing to lose.
