Yep may not even be that long really. I predict chinese companies will have publicly available robot waifus on sale sometime 2030-2035. Artifical wombs are a different beast though and ironically way more complicated than robot girlfriends. However I don't think most here are that interested in children anyways.

even in the event that their sale is banned in the US you can just go to china itself or across the border to mexico or canada where they'll certainly be selling them in physical storefronts. For example even though Huawei and BYD cars cant be sold in the US people still get them. however its unlikely they could be fully banned due to first amendment reasons.
