I must have watched each movie about 5-10 times, puts me into fantasy land which is nice. I wish I lived in middle earth as a wizard or an elf, maybe in the next life. We manifested in our minds so who says it can't be reality.
I have seen the director's cut of each film twice.

5 or 6 times, it's nice because it shows that even if things look completely lost, there's always a chance. Quality cope.

Great movies, maybe the best ever created by mankind. A lot of scenes are simply perfect; I remember rewatching dozens of times some esthetically intense scenes like Boromir's downfall, feeling incredibly powerful emotions. When I went to the cinema at age 10 to see the movies for the first time, I wasn't expecting that they would never be surpassed by something better. I was watching a unique masterpiece and wasn't aware of it.

Brilliant movies, it's nothing short of a miracle that the book was adapted, not just competently, but consistently so, over three movies, spanning 12 hours in total. It's not something you can really compare to other films, the trilogy is in a league of it's own.
Some themes of the story are more relevant now than they ever were, in today's world.
To any who have not, I'd recommend you read the books, too. It's worth getting into reading for that goal alone.
There is a great talk I found a while back, underrated, some of you may be interested to listen to it.
