Just got on Prozac and its been good so far. Major reduction in depressed feelings for sure. Bonus side affect is it has lessened my sex drive which is GREAT! I have no need for sex drive since I'm a life long truecel & oldcel now and it doesnt do me any good to have those feelings. I hated my sex drive my entire life and it's the root cause of my depressed feelings so this is a dream come true

I was on it for Abt 6 months. It's a very strong antidepressant for sure, I had stomach problems and no ambition while I was on it and quit after 5-6 months.  Prozac has been smoother for me so far, but I will see how it works after a few months

I was on sertraline for nearly a year. It did successfully reduce my depression symptoms to a very notable extent. I was on a very low dose as well.

However it affected my ability to get hard, and id rather be depressed than be unable to fuck

I tried a couple of different doses..5mg was best for me.  Taking more would make me blank out. I would get up walk into the living room and go completely blank.. like what am I doing here?..it was wierd.

It def took my depression away and also my "bordem" feelings so I was perfectly content laying in bed all day watching TV, 0 ambition to get up and do anything..mental cognition def suffered, I would feel foggy headed esp. on higher doses.

The side effects became too much and I finally quit taking it after a few months. My psych at the time was a private doctor and prob got kickbacks on prescribing it. It's a "name brand" drug here in the states and very expensive. I had insurance at the time so not so bad for me but insurance was footing a big Bill.

Now I'm going to the county psych and she put me on Prozac which is generic now and I seem to be tolerating it better. I've been on for about 10 days but it seems "smoother". Lessens depression without messing my head up. . Won'tow for a few months how it really does.

here where I live is very cheap, just 5€ per month 

hope it will work, good luck with prozac, never tried it but may try it if brintellix doesn't work
