I've noticed my hairline is receding since 2023.
my crown started thinning in 2021/2022 and then gradually all the top of my head has thinned, i can only keep my hair short now

I have an atypical male hairloss pattern, I always have medium long hair at the top so I can cover it up well especially until 2 days after washing.

atypical is so brutal
it is but luckily I can cover it up (for the time being), if my hair isn't greasy. It's mostly "lines" without hair, these lines that run along my head if that makes sense. I don't have lots of hair (although it looks like it) but I have lots of "lines" on the top of my head that have no hair. Like the part in the middle of your head where you have no hair, I just have many of those in every direction.

It's too sad that we can't do that irl because we'd be laughing stock with such silly hat
to be fair it's better a silly hat than a bald head
I lose some density in my mid 20s, I'm 30 now and it hasn't gotten worse, but it probably will soon.

I've been feeling the hair on my crown being thinner than on the rest of my head for a few years, but never thought much of it. Start of this year, I've realized that it's thinning so much that it's already visible, and I'm planning on starting to treat it as soon as possible, though I don't have much money to spend at the moment.
