I am. I live in the burbs, so I cant even go anywhere without a car...and you guessed it...I dont have a car. Im literally in my room 24/7

A handfull of acquaintances around campus, some people I know from church (I'm not religious anymore so I don't go regularly), that's pretty much it apart from family.
Just family. And I barely talk to them.
I haven’t had a friend in three years and this thread made me realize that I haven’t left the house in two weeks. I’m not entirely alone, at least I have my family. That’s more than some people can say.
I play vidya with my brother every few weeks. Nothing other than that though.

My family lives 10.000 kilometers away in Europe...Here i'm completely isolated, except when I work, and the rest in my room.
My family live near but they suck, they just give me enough money to stay alive, but not enough money to succeed in life (I have plans but my family won't finance my idea). I'm completely isolated besides Steam and forums. I don't even have a pet cat

isolated and i live way down yonder so theres not really any avenue for unisolation unless i drive 45 miles
I think I would be happier and not mentalcel if I was left alone since birth in complete human isolation with a computer, some games and my animal companion.
Society and family made me a misanthrope and like @feminismcancer said, animals are warm.
