Not literally created it, but the misc popularized it on the internet. Pretty much every blackpill/redpill related site is an offshoot of the misc, why do you think misc memes are always posted on lookism?
I went there after I failed at pua. Blackpill aside, I still think it's the best internet forum of all time. It had everything.

I've lurked on bodybuilding.com quite a lot, in misc as well, but never get registered. Now i mostly watch workout programs there.
I miss it back when it was in its prime days. You could literally refresh the front page every 5 seconds and get a completely new set of threads. Bad moderation and people migrating to reddit killed it.
If by blackpill you mean the truth behind 21st century dating, then the first forum that I know is PUAHate which dates to 2008.
These guys were frustrated "pick up artists" who realized that their appearance was holding them back.
To me, the blackpill is much more than just what we talk about. We perhaps scrape 1% of all blackpills that exist. There are likely philosophers, scientists, etc, out there who are much more blackpilled than any of us could even imagine. My definition of the blackpill is simply a knowledge or understanding of very inconvenient truths about humans and society. Misc has very little to do with anything, sorry to say.
But I do agree that there exists this sort of "love triangle" with Lookism.net, Bodybuilding.com, Incels.me. We all gravitate to these places.
So? They weren't a forum dedicated to discussing the importance of appearance in the dating market. Just because one or two fools here or there mentioned something does not mean the blackpill "originated" on Bodybuilding.com.
PUAHate was the first forum to frequently use the term incel. PUAHate was the beginning of what you are talking about.
But the actual beginning was thousands of years ago.

I used to be a miscer back in the day, was red tho. I've read some of the funniest shit ever on there. Nowadays I browse the fitmisc but thats mostly for Delray Misfit/Jason Genova stuff. The general impression was that most of the misc were socially inept virgins.
