Discussion How long would you guys survive a zombie apocalypse?

Assuming you're rotting one day and then the news is like "Zombies have invaded the major cities in Washington dc and are spreading rapidly" What is your gameplan? For me, I'm hopping on the train and going far north or retreating deep into the woods

Probably quite a while. Rural, fences, lots of doors and weapons.
Biggest threats would be running out of food or being killed by other survivors.
