Literally as the iphones started coming out and people transitioned over from flip phones things started to go to shit. No doubt women were still acting degenerate, but people were more normal. People acted differently with each other. Everything was more in the moment. Now we have kids talking that havent seen the world before social media and that to me is nauseating. I remember even in school everyone was more in the moment now I see school kids they are doing 2 things. Staring down at their phone or chads and stacys being chads and stacys. I was already older but I miss the myspace era. Thats as far as I wouldve let this social media bullshit go.

When I play GTA IV which is set in 2008 or something like that. Totally different feel to that society in many ways.
2008 was when things seemed hopeful.
2011 would be noticeable but I think you'd have to go to 2007 for a truly big change.
