how is it possible every field/career is saturated and hyper competitive?

how is it possible that every single career/job choice all the way from nuclear engineer to toilet bowl cleaner at mcdonalds is completely saturated and hyper competitive? how is there not one single avenue thats not completely filled to the brim with people fighting tooth and nail for the spot? seems absolutely insane. this economy is completely fucked

Because there is overpopulation and people have become very productive due to technology. We have lowered our own value by creating products that increase working efficiency during our own lifetimes.

Additionally, the high tech jobs available are mostly in the US as they possess the highest credit and have a technological society based on innovation and basically colonizing other nations with their products. Yet, they make up 5% of the population so we see a world wherein people keep reproducing in lower tier countries filling up the lower end jobs because their societies simply don't have a cutthroat US style economy. This further heightens the problem in sectors like computer science and freelance work, pushing most people into the universities to work extremely high iq jobs.

Because people want jobs; especially within the higher tier of jobs you're talking about, like with computer science/medical work, you basically have a huge surplus of people wanting to work in those fields to wealthmaxx, yet not enough positions at all to accommodate all of those people...

Meaning these fields become highly saturated, and to succeed (if you even manage to get into the field with things like medical work/law) you need to be a high IQ and extremely motivated person with many connections to get into the elite tiers, though you might manage to receive the benefits of affirmative action if a foid/black; note that most of these connections are held by wealthier Chads with large social circles of people just like them, made solely off of their genetics and circumstance...

Which is part of the reason why I am so envious of high IQ geniuscels.
