TL;DR: I was messing around in class, using inspect element to change my grades. This rich privileged foid thought I was dead ass hacking, and paid me $10 a week to "change" her grades.
So I was sitting there in 9th grade, fucking around in my tech class. I was in this program my high school offered that was all about graphic design. That year we were learning Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. I had all my work done, and was checking my grades. The C+ I had in English was pissing me off, so I pressed F12 and changed that C+ to an A. I didn't realize it, but this rich girl who bought her way into the program (she was a fucking idiot), was watching me "change" my C+ to an A. She gasped or some shit after I hit enter, and I looked at her. She didn't say anything after that.
Later that night, I was teaching myself some Python, and the rich girl (We'll call her Allie) texts me. This isn't word for word, but the convo went something like this:
Allie: I saw you hacking and changing your grades in 2nd period. Could you maybe change my grades as well?
Me: No thanks, i'm good.
Allie: I'm willing to pay you
At this point I realized, holy shit I'm about to make money off of using inspect element. I responded with a
Me: How much
Allie: $10 a week.
Me: Deal.
I was sitting there laughing because I just found a way to make easy money. As a broke high school kid (ig I still am now), this made be pretty damn excited.
Next day I change Allie's grades right in front of her eyes, and she gave me 10 bucks on the spot. If she logged back in and saw that her grades were back to how they were before, I would just say that our teacher must have changed them back. This mans Allie just completely fucking gave up on trying in school, because she thought I was there to fix her grades. Her GPA dropped from 3.5 to prob a 2.0 maybe worse. I almost felt guilty while doing this, because I knew her grades were dropping rapidly. At the same time, I wish that she had started paying me sooner, because she made her $10/week offer late in the 1st semester. I could have made soo much more money.
I have no damn clue what happened to her, as she moved at the end of the year. She had so much money she could prob bribe her way into any college no matter how shit her gpa was. I ended up with $170 from her at the end of the year.
