Not sure about that. 95% of guys have a femoid at some point interact with them in a positive way and open the opportunity to ask them out/escalate. 95% of guys don't get overtly hit on. Some of these are fucking porn scripts.

• Said "Hi" more often. We're talking about going from twice a day to three times a day, something that was apparently a very clear hint that she was interested.
  
• Jumped into my lap and kissed me. Didn't go anywhere, because our first and only date ended up being a total train wreck due to me being nervous, inexperienced and socially inept.
  
• Met her at my local bar. We spent an entire evening together, then she kissed me ten minutes before closing time. It might have gone somewhere, but then her friend, who had been watching us the entire time, came along and literally dragged her away from me. I never saw her again.
  
• An acquaintance who one day jumped in my lap, wrapped her arms around my neck and looked at me with the ol' bedroom eyes before asking me if I ever felt lonely. Since we had been talking about some pretty personal stuff I just said "Yeah, sometimes" and then expected her to continue the conversation. Crickets were chirping for a good thirty seconds before she realized I wasn't going to kiss her and stormed off. I had no clue whatsoever until a friend of mine, who had seen the entire ordeal, asked me the next day if I had "gotten any" the night before.
  
• Started talking to me out of the blue when I was at my local bar, played with my hair (I had fairly long hair at the time) and told me it made me look sexy if I had it behind my ear. We talked a bit, danced a bit and since she was fair bit shorter than me we ended up with her standing on this step up to the VIP area. I ended up with my hands on her ass for a good ten minutes, but for me it was just the most comfortable position and I thought nothing of it. Then her friends started disappearing to "get another beer," and she eventually dragged me off to a quiet corner for some 101 time. Since I was as clueless as ever that conversation ended after about five minutes, and she excused herself and went looking for her friends.
  
• I have on two separate occasions been asked if I had a girlfriend, and the ladies in question started laying it on pretty heavily when I said I didn't. We're talking compliments for days, telling me they were into "men like me" and one of them told me I was the only real man around, all while doing just about anything except jumping me right there. I thought she was really friendly and didn't catch on until the topic came up when I was out with some friends and one of my closest female friends called me a flippin' idiot for not getting it.
