Discussion How good/bad is public transport in your country ?

In Germany its terrible. The trains arrives too late 80% of the time ans you have to reorganize your whole route because DB is unreliable as shit. Not only that but the toilets are often broken too, little to no space to move, overprices as shit (flying is unironically cheaper) and not to mention all the disgusting nigger, sands and Curries i had to endure. Then of course there are also the annoying ticket controllers. And the government is surprised why people prefer to drive car. Im really thankful to have a car and arrive on time almost all the time.

In bigger cities is quite decent, but in smaller towns it's still rarity

In Spain trains are unreliable with lots of delays (can range from something short like 10 minutes to 1 hour) also they often do repair works or people commit suicide jumping in the tracks which delay the trains further. Buses on the other hand are quite good and on time.

But depends a lot on where you live, and if you don't live in a big city you'll need a car unless you want to rely on bad public transport connections.
