I've heard of people getting paid for nose jobs. What excuses do these people use?

Deviated septum.

Just say you have problems with breathing. You qualify if you have a deviated nose bridge; that is if it really is deviated so badly that it obstructs your breathing.

right, but wouldn't you need a rhinoplasty for the appearance to change?

Insurance will cover it as well as long as you make the claim.

Just NHSmaxx bro

I really dont know if it is possible tbh.

There was a woman who got a boob job on the NHS a few years ago. For those who aren't familiar, basically taxpayers had to fund her breast implants.

Jaw surgery is covered by insurance if it is functional/used to correct bite, as in the case with recessed chincels with overbites as a result.
