How does a group of women react when you speak to them?

I have a feeling that it's always the same for all of us as it is always the same for me.

If I address a group of women, for whatever reason, they sort of pause and look away from each other or at each other, there's a moment of silence, and then maybe laughter from at least 2 of them, but maybe all of them, and then one might answer the question in as short a way as possible, or they may direct you to someone else, awy from them.

I know better than to set myself up for that kind of failure. I've had "friends" that would introduce me to groups of women and like OP said it goes silence.disgust/laughter. Dismissal.

I don't recall that ever happening to me. I think the most I've ever interacted with at one time is three, and even that wasn't proper interaction as it was so brief.

They usually go quiet and seem surprised by what I'm doing. That's if they actually stop. On Saturday I approached a group of five girls, singling out one I liked, but they all just walked off.

Yes. I have 2 sisters, back when I was younger this was the exact reaction when they had their friends over, even in my own house, after knowing me for years.
