I recommend Glock-19 for your first gun. It's a great all rounder, overall the best pistol in my opinion. I put over 3000 rounds through mine with 0 malfunctions.

Honestly I got my first gun planning to kill myself, but target shooting is a pretty fun cope. It's easy to spend the entire day at the range for me, just blasting stuff.
